Kay Jackson dedicated her life to golf service. She was the president of the Rhode Island Women’s Golf Association for six years (1955-58 and 1969-70). For 15 years, she served on the USGA’s Women’s Committee.
Up until recently, she was still active on the USGA’s Museum and Library Committees. In 1986, the USGA bestowed one of its highest honors on her when she was named captain of the United States Team that competed in the Women’s World Amateur Team Championship.
