Rhode Island Golf Association
The Rhode Island Golf Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to the service of golf in Rhode Island. Founded in 1902, our primary mission is to promote, protect, and preserve the traditions of the game of golf in Rhode Island. As "caretakers" of the game we work to preserve the rich history of golf in our state and to provide numerous services that benefit all that play the game.
The Rhode Island Golf Association is an association of Member Clubs. Individual members of a member club have the ability to join the RIGA and be eligible to participate in RIGA events. The RIGA conducts championships for Men and Women for higher level golfers and Weekly events that are intended to be more social.
The 2024 Tournament Schedule will be available soon. There are several events that dates have not yet been secured. Once dates are secured, they will be released and added to the schedule.
Men's Events
The RIGA annually conducts 16 Men's Championships. In addition, the RIGA conducts qualifiers for State and USGA events.

The RIGA conducts over 26 Women's Events. There are four major championships, 17 weekly play dates, 2 Mixed Tournaments and five weeks of Team Matches. In addition, there are three affiliated regional events members will be eligible to participate.
