Eligibility: Amateur golfers who have a membership with a RIGA member club or are a Rhode Island resident and a Men�s Handicap Index of not more than 10.0.

Qualifying: 36 Holes-Stroke Play to determine 32 match play qualifiers. In the event of a tie, final qualifying places shall be decided by a sudden death playoff immediately following the completion of scheduled play.

Thursday, July 10th - Match Play - Semi-Finals - Afternoon
Friday, July 11th - Match Play - 36 Hole Final - Morning

2014 State Amateur Exemption List

Pre-Qualifying: 18 Holes - Stroke Play

West Warwick CC: May 21, 2014
Fenner Hill GC: May 28, 2014
North Kingstwon GC: June 9, 2014

Each qualifying site will be limited to 72 players. Each player will have the choice as to which site they would like to play, until that site becomes full. The number of qualifiers at each qualifier will be determined by the RIGA after entries close, based on the size of the field at each site.

Conditions/Schedules: The RIGA reserves the right to alter any of the conditions and schedules herein. The decision of the RIGA in any matter shall be final.

Cart and Caddie policy: Carts are only permissible during the pre-qualifying stage. A player may take a caddie or carry their own bag at any stage of the competition.

Important: Entries must be received by May 7, 2014. If a player wishes to enter a tournament after the entry deadline, and if there is an available spot for that player, there will be an additional charge of $25.00.
